Guns are like fast bikes and wild women. No two man can agree on either one. Or is it fast women and wild bikes :) I always get confused in which order do hey come.

That said. AS long as you are not acting stupid and doing something that you shouldn't be doing. you will be just fine.

But, without getting into a debate about gun laws/ownership I'll just say this.  I grew up shooting guns. I spent most of my childhood summers shooting for fun and hunting for food. It is some of the best memories I have.  
 
As long as I can purchase and use them legally I will. I saw an R-15 and an M4 at bass pro yesterday that had me drooling. Smile

Wow, that is a lot of info. Carry your firearm in a case, unloaded, and not withen your immediate reach, with a valid FOID card, check. Don't be a criminal and do a whole lot of dumb stuff, check. Thanks for the link. Very good information.
It seems like its inevitable to get into some sort of trouble while transporting a firearm with all the different laws from different jurisdictions.  I guess even going to shooting range a few towns away requires a little research.
 
I am new to all of this I guess and might just be overthinking everything. Thanks again for posting this link, very helpful.

I know I talked to Carlos and he was interested in taking a road trip to try a different track and the prices per trackday range from $100-150.

The fastest track I think is Texas World Speedway, and if anyone is planning a trip to the F1 race on Nov 18 there is a trackday at Texas World the weekend before...

If anyone gets a crazy idea and wants to plan a road trip let me know! Or you could try to find a bike rental place and get the best insurance they offer!

This Tue at Players there was a small discussion outside about what is legal and what is not when it comes to having/transporting gun in IL and out of it. While we are far behind the rest, you can still have it and transport guns in IL.

On another side I have found a great pdf from IL State Police that covers this topic perfectly.
