DRILL once again participated in fund raising for the war on breast cancer. Luckily the weather for the ride was far better than last year!

Several lucky DRILL members trucked their bikes all the way to gorgeous Monterey California, one actually rode the whole way from Chicagoland! Not only did they enjoy seeing Chaz Davies place on the podium, meet him and get signatures, but they also rode an incredible 926 mile route full of insane Californian scenery and twisties!

The gang reunited once again for Mak's eggceptional restaurant quality omelettes for the MotoGP season opener race; Vadim made some waffles too. We also could barely contain ourselves when we witnessed Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso beat that Honda rider to take victory in the first race of the season!

Rain didn't stop many hardcore DRILL members from riding from MCC to the D-Store, all the way finally to La Macchina Cafe for dinner to celebrate reaching our donation goal of $2500 to aid the fight against breast cancer!

Once more the DRILL crew, this time 20 bikes in total, rode to Wisconsin up to Devil's Lake for lunch. The Chicago team joined forces with the Rockford delegation and stormed the back road twisties in style.
MOTOGP SEASON OPENER BREAKFAST
Another MotoGP season opener breakfast hosted by our sponsor dealer Motor Cycle Center filled us with amazing omelettes, lovingly made by our club President Mak, and decadent waffles by Secretary Vadim. We were also filled with joy to see #4, factory Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso, taking 2nd place on the podium!
DRILL HOLIDAY PARTY
Another delicious pot luck party brought together various ethnic delights at one of our member's lovely home. Special thanks to Jeff and his family for graciously hosting the event!
2nd ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF
The election was rigged, but the chilis were all delicious! Five contestants this year brought their best brews from as far as Rockford. From vegetarian chili to hunted elk meat, the pots were all scraped clean and after voting was done, for some reason, sparklers happened. If you're a Ducati rider and aren't in the club, you are missing out on some wild times. Special thanks to our sponsor dealer MCC for hosting the party.
devil's lake ride
This year we repeated last November's ride through nowhere Wisconsin, expertly traversing the amazing hilly twisties on our way to Devil's Lake for a photo op - around a 450+ mile round trip journey! Over 16 members joined on their Ducatis for this all day trip, this time, without freezing on the way home.
MotoGP Round 3 COTA
The bikes were loaded into a semi truck exotic car transport (thanks Bobby!) and taken down to Austin TX for the MotoGP race at the Circuit of The Americas. Many club members were able to make the trip and party at Ducati Island, the rest stayed home and cried themselves to sleep.
MotoGP Season Opener
The Club got together at MCC to enjoy the thrills of MotoGP for the season opener in Qatar. There were fresh omelettes, waffles, drinks, and good times for all. Special thanks goes out to the Motor Cycle Center and it's staff for hosting our little party!
DRILL Holiday Party
This year's Holiday Party, which was hosted by MCC, was a pot luck based on different cultural foods from Italian, Indian, Polish, Spanish, South American, and more... Dancing occured.
Group ride through Nowhere Wisconsin
The Club met in Schaumburg and rode up to Rockford to meet a few more members for breakfast. After a great meal, we all rode a 250 mile loop through the twisties and back country roads in Wisconsin, returning later that evening cold, tired, but victorious with huge smiles on our faces. One of the club members recorded some of this amazing ride.
drill 10 year anniversary party - october 18, 2015
La Macchina Cafe hosted our 10 year anniversary party with amazing food, live DJ for music, home riding videos and an amazing cake. We classed up the place and made noise late into the night. Various authentic Italian dishes seemed to arrive on the tables endlessly. Thanks again to our gracious hosts for making it a most memorable party!
